QQMouse

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of the QQMouse software (the "Software") and this website. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. The same terms are packaged with each installer and must be accepted during installation.

1. License

QQMouse is provided free of charge under a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on devices you own or are authorized to control, for lawful purposes only.

2. Development software

QQMouse is early, pre-release software, distributed as unsigned development builds. It may be incomplete, may change without notice, and may not work as expected. You use it at your own risk.

3. Acceptable use

QQMouse forwards keyboard, mouse, clipboard, and file-transfer input between computers you pair together. You may only use it to control computers that you own or are authorized to control. You must not use it to access, monitor, or interfere with any device, network, or data without authorization.

4. Privacy

The Software runs locally and communicates only over your local network, between the devices you pair. It does not create an account and does not transmit your personal data, keystrokes, clipboard, or files to us or any third party. See the Privacy Notice for details.

5. No warranty

The Software and website are provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall the authors or contributors be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the Software, the website, or their use.

7. Security responsibility

You are responsible for the security of the devices and network on which you run the Software, including keeping pairings limited to machines you trust.

8. Downloads

Installers are hosted on GitHub Releases. Downloading and using them is subject to these terms and to GitHub's terms.

9. Changes

These terms may be updated for future versions. The version packaged with each release governs that release; the version on this page governs the website.
